Who we are

Heaps Busy is operated by FIRE HERO PTY LTD (ABN 13 679 488 272). Our postal address is Level 7/377-383 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. You can contact us at get@heapsbusy.com.au.

Small businesses with annual turnover of $3 million or less are generally exempt from the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We still aim to handle personal information carefully and in line with those principles as best practice.

What we collect

When you use our contact form or email us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give one), business name and the message you send. We may also collect basic technical details such as IP address and browser type, used for security and spam prevention.

We only collect what we need to reply to your enquiry or to deliver a service you’ve asked for. We do not buy, sell or swap lead lists.

Why we collect it

• To respond to enquiries and provide quotes
• To deliver website builds and care services you’ve agreed to
• To keep records we need for tax and business purposes
• To protect the site from spam and abuse

The contact form is for enquiries only. Submitting it is not a marketing subscription. If we ever send commercial email, we will only do so with appropriate consent under the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and include a working unsubscribe.

How we store and share it

Enquiry details may be stored in our email inbox and, if configured, in a database or email delivery provider. Some of those tools may be based overseas (for example in the United States). If we use them, we will take reasonable steps to keep your information secure.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers who help us run the business (hosting, email, accounting), or if the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to handle your request and meet record-keeping duties, then delete or de-identify them when they are no longer required. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep a minimal suppression record so we can honour that.

Access and correction

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, by emailing get@heapsbusy.com.au. We’ll respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Security

We use HTTPS on this website and spam checks on the contact form (including a honeypot and a minimum time-to-submit). Optional Cloudflare Turnstile may also be enabled. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don’t send sensitive payment details through the form.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
